Good Morning. I got to come home from work two hours early. I was so happy. You should have seen me. I asked if I could really go, and when I was told yes, I punched out and changed out of my horrible steel toed shoes and ran out the door. OH baby, no one runs faster than someone getting out of there early. All you see is a blur of arms waving bye bye. then its into your car and out of the parking lot before someone can chase you down and say, oops, you have to stay. run baby run
So I have to wait up till at least 12 today for the phone people to get here. For some reason, the outlets in my house arent working. Only one is working, and that phone doesnt have an answering machine on it. Too Bad???? But I do need the phone lines to work, so I will wait.
And while I wait, I will work on the quilt. I got a bunch of peices done yesterday. I need 144 of these two triangles sewn together, so I can make the center of the block. Once I get those done, I am hoping it will go a little quicker. I wish I had someone to iron and cut the peices apart. You just keep sewing the same peice until you have enough. Then you cut all those apart, iron them open, and then sew them to the next piece. Its very repetive, but in the end, you have a beautiful quilt.
the picture above is a block I made the other day. I like to make one, just to make sure i know what i am doing. It still needs some border pieces around it, but that is pretty much it. I need to make 36 of those. It will be very nice in the end. Thats it for now. Hope ya all have a good day.
