Sunday chattin again

According to my recollection, its been a week since I wrote anything on my page. Its not that I dont really want to, cus i do. But I have been so freaking tired I just cant. I have been doing a job I havent done for quite a while and it just wears me out. I did ask to do this, but i think I wont be asking to do this again for a while. It wears me out, i have nothing to prove. let the younger guys do it. i dont care.

other than that i really havent done much. I come home from work and pray i make it to the shower then bed. i usually do. yesterday i spent all day working on that quilt. it took so long to get linda to make up her mind over everything, i just wanted to finally get it finished. Now i will bring it to her, she can put the pictures of her kids on the white squares, and I will order the back. Again, it has to be ordered online cus we cant get patriots products in the stores out here. i think its a licencing thing with them, or the company that owns the rights to the patriots. the back is going to be fleece. it will be plenty warm this winter as she sits at practice and the games. this will last her a life time though, and no one else will have one like it. I dont even know how much to charge her. we never discussed it. oh well. im sure she will be fair. I explained how much time it takes to do these. we will see.

I almost ended this, but I just remembered one more thing. remember the birds nest that was on  our porch thing in front of our door? Well, I think what happened  to the second bird that disappeared, i think he flew away. The following week the last bird in the nest sat on the edge, let me take his picture, which i have to gather and post. Then one day, the nest was empty. we let it stay there for a few days, thinking the birds were gonna come back. they never did though. so john took it down and it fell apart. there was nothing but a few feathers in it. I think that the birds maybe hatched a week apart and that is how they matured and flew away. We would have liked to see them leave the nest, but they didnt let us know when it was happening so we missed it.

ok, that is it for now. see ya all later.

  3. Goodness you've been busy - even with being tired....all day working on a quilt would do my fingers in - that's if my vision held up - you go girl. Imagine those birds not being considerate enough to give you notice of their plans to move out ;). In all seriousness - if they liked the place, they'll probably come back next year and build another nest.
