I have a few things going on. Not right now exactly, but coming up in the future. I get the guilt going on if I don't write here for long periods of time, so I guess will give my schedule of events.
Next Saturday is my very first pleasure party. I am so freaking excited, ummmmm, very excited, yea. I have never done this before. I think its gonna be fun. I have hired a massage therapist to come in for two hours and give ten to fifteen minute massages to the ladies. We will have a few drinks, a few snacks, play a few games and have some fun. I was the second person to book a party, but I am the first party to be given. I have about ten people i think are gonna show up. I think I an gonna buy a penis shaped cookie cutter, make some marshmallows, and the party people are bringing chocolate from chocoholics to dip them in. We will have Mojitos, Margarita's and wine to sip on to make sure we are totally relaxed. I don't know if the website is finished yet, but its littleblowpeeps.com if you want to check it out. I really wish you all could come to my party, it would be so much fun. I could turn on the cam if everyone agreed, and you could be a part of it that way. NOT. I don't think that would really be a good idea. I definitely will let you all know how that day turns out.
On April 23 we are having a bake sale at work for Race For the Cure. We did this last year and raised $1100.00 in a 24 hour period. Frito Lay matched that and we were able to actually donate 2200.00 to the cause. I am hoping we do better this year. I made up sign up sheets for the departments at work. Of course, they can make their own if they want, I bet they use this one though, cus its done for them. That doesn't matter though, what matters is finding a cure and ending the disease.
On June 21 I think is the date, I will be walking for two hours. I don't have a website yet, but I will be posting it when I get it. As a site last year, we did very good. I cant remember how much we raised, but it was a lot. This year, I will walk with my sister on my mind. She had colon cancer, went through chemo, and is a survivor, Thank God! This has become very important to me, and I am extremely proud to be able to be a part of helping in some small way.
John and i have nothing planned for the next few weeks. I am so glad for that. We are getting kinda tired and need a weekend off. This past saturday night, we went to my rewards and recognition party at Frito lay. It was very nice, good food, good entertainment, and good company. They hired people to do a ballroom dance demonstration. It was so cool. The dancers were very young and looked good. It just made me want to dance even more. There was a magician, live Jazz music during dinner and a casino afterword. This is the party where they hand out awards for accomplishments and different things during the year. I received one for safety for doing the lockout stuff. We have to lock everything out if it has any kind of automation on it. That was cool and unexpected. I also won a raffle prize and blackout bingo. I got a huge basket of our products from bingo and a blender/food processor from the raffle. It was a good night.
