Getting ready for my kids

My elsdest son, Andy, his wife Tania and my two grandbabies will be here in a few weeks. I cant hardley stand it. I miss them so much. So, I had to finish up the two little lap quilts I started so I can put everything away in my sewing room. I will be turning my sewing room into a bedroom for Andy and Tania. I dont know if you can tell, but these are really small. They really are only lap quilts. they are aboutthe size of a crib quilt. I am trying to use up some of my scraps. I kind of like these scrappy quilts, they have a little more personality, I think.

One of the ladies at work has an apricot tree. She promised me she would bring some in for me when they became ready to pick. Well, she brought me in a bag of apricots. I tdoesnt look like a whole bunch, until you start pitting them and making pies. I pitted a bunch of them, and you would have thought it would have made a dent, but it didnt. I made a pieyesterday, but I havent tasted it yet. I am happy just making this stuff, if someone would just eat it. Its pretty hard for two people to eat all the stuff I like to make. Anyway, I cleaned the rest of them and froze them so I will have them the nest time I want a pie.

I started another story. Wont tell ya what it s about, until you see it here. I kinda like it. Again, it is not for children. It may scare them. Sorry about that for those of you who have small kids, like um..... Brandon.

We went out to dinner tonight at Red Lobster. We both ate too much. I feel disgusting, and I really want a piece of pie. maybe later. Ok, see ya ll later. Hope your having a great weekend.
