Ok, this is where Amber starts laughing at me. You can too if ya want, but this is life in the valley. Yesterday and today we had our first days of 100 + temps. I really hope this is the last day for a while. I am shut up in my house, with the doors and windows closed, and air conditioner running for the first time this year. My ceiling fans do a good job until the temps climb this high. Im not whining, really. It could be worse, I am grateful we dont live in a area that floods every year.
I am hoping I get called off tonight. Surprise. I just dont want to go to work. Again, not whining. Just dont wanna go. I had to stay awake today to sign some papers for something we are doing, and I got to bed after 1:00. I was almost totally loopy by the time I went to bed, but i feel better now.
I think Im down to writing really short blogs for a while. I really have nothing to talk about but, I feel compelled to get on here and write something. the weekend is almost here, John is working at the Chile Cookoff at the VFW he belongs to on Saturday. I will try my best not to be there. I hate those things, but I guess I am also supposed to support him and his stuff. I will probably make a short appearence and leave.
