Strange friends

About  a week ago I received a message in my mailbox from a young lady named Vanessa. All she said was "Give me your home addressand I will give you mine. " Her pic seemd to be that of a 13 or 14 year old kid. I tried to get back to her and advise her not to be asking for info like that from strangers, but she was not set on public, so I couldnt respond to her. So I went to her blog site and there was no profile, no past blogs, no nothing. She did have 3 or 4 friends, but only one of them had a profile. One of her friends names was Bate M. This whole scenerio seemed a little strange to me. It felt more like a sting set-up for pedofiles. It really sorta pissed me off that someone would send that kind of crap to me. I guess you have to watch what happens around you no matter what. It made me a little leary of this whole blogging thing. It was just a release for me in the beginning.  That little act kinda took away some of the mystery of writing to no one inparticular and being able to say what you want with only your personel restrictions. Maybe it was nothing. Maybe it was just some kid havng fun or she just got on the internet and doesnt know what else to do. I hope it was an innocent act from a silly kid. Maybe I am making too much of this and I should just forget about it and move on. I guess its really nothing, as long as I dont make it something. It makes me wonder now who is really looking at all these little blog notes we all write. We may have 350 page views, but you dont know from who. Oh well, I guess that is the idea of being able to sit down here and write these little notes to oursselves and each other. Has anyone else had anything like this happen to them?
