Happy Days

I got to come home from work last night at 1:30, so I slept almost a whole night. Woke up at 6:30 and was ready to take on the day, so I cleaned my house, read the paper and had breakfast. What a good start, I think.Image Now I dont have to worry about anything else my other half may decide I need to do. He is really good at this, cant stand it if I am doing nothing and he is mowing the lawn. My housework is done for the week, and now my time is mine.

Just got a call from the college I chose to take classes from. Was told my first packet is on the way and I can get started with a new learning process as soon as it arrives. I am sooo  excited! I am of the hope that by this time next year, I wont be working for a major snack food manufacturer. I hope I will be working for an attorney, or real estate office or some other place I will be able to put my new found skills to use.  How exciting is that! Dont cha just love learning new stuff. I do.

Although, my work week is Sunday through Thursday, I am being forced to work tonight also. I know that starting next week, we at work will be forced to work many 12 hour days, plus our days off. this really sucks! ImageThat is a big reason I want out of that job. I absolutly cannot stand the fact that they can rule my life so much. If we dont work when they tell us to, we get occurances, as if we were absent, and pretty soon these add up and they fire us. So we have to work. No, we are not union, and I know union people will say, " This wouldnt happen if you were Union". Oh goody, that is not enough to make me want to give part of my money to someone else to be a mouthpiece for me. No offence all you union people, I just dont feel the same way you do. I am starting on my way out by learning something else, and that is my advantage.

Still no sunshine here in Motown. Still raining, and expected to continue till next week with a spot of sunshine maybe this week end. One can only hope.Image

Heres hopen everyone out there has a safe and relaxing weekend. Image
