I feel so bad for all you folks over on the other side. We just got over our heat wave, and I see the heat has broke in the UK. It looks like it landed all along the East coast now. It was miserable, I know, and really I do feel bad for you. Learn to drink Gatoraid. It kept me from getting headaches every day. I couldnt get enough water in me. As soon as I drank it, I would sweat it right back out, so i was dehydrated and couldnt do anything about it. When I started drinking Gatoraid, I started feeling better. It really does work. and if your going to be outside, wear a hat and drink more fluids. I know you all know this, but if you go throught he same kind of heat wave we did, you have to take care of yourselves. I thought I was gonna have to take John to the hospital, cus he would come home from work, and just be all flush, and didnt look good at all. It gets really scary, and you dont even realuise it is happening to you. If you only drink water, and sweat a lot, you arent replacing your electrolites you loose, and need. That is why I say drink gatoraid. and Please check on your elderly neighbors, dont think they know what is going on and that someone is taking care of them. If it is really hot in their homes and they dont have AC, they could be in a dangerous situation. enough said I hope.
OK, Im stepping down of my my little heat wave soap box. I only jumped up there cus you guys are important to me. anyway, I went back to Santa cruz this weekend to attend my neices wedding shower. It was set up so cute. Her sisters had a theme of Mexican fiesta. They ordered real brite colored mexican blankets from Mexico, for the table coverings. they bought Pinatas and the big Sombreros for decorations. There was a special decorated one in Black, Yellow and orange for the bride, groom and their baby. We ate homade tamales, chile relanos, rice,and the best salsa and chips. There was supposed to be beans, but they were forgotten, we were wondering where they were. Every Mexican meal always has beans. OH but the food was too good. tehn we drank margeritas from the margerita machine. How fun was that, just walk on over and fillerup. It was a beautiful day. Not too hot. I cant wait for the wedding, now that is going to be fun. I have to go shopping, I need something to wear.
there isnt a whole lot happening here, other than that. Just work, sleep, wakeup, and work sleep wakeup some more. So, until I have something to tell you all about, I guess I will sign out. See ya all later.
