3. Describe how the ways of doing household chores was different when you were growing up than it is today. When I was growing up, I had brothers and sisters and we all had to share the chores. Each week we had a different room we had to clean. We had to mop the floor every day in the kitchen cus it was such a busy room and the floor got filthy. Now, I have a shark floor cleaner and I love it. I only had two boys, and sad to say, I never made them do much cleaning. They are both learning now to do that on their own.

  1. Chores - what were those? We didn't have any chores except to keep our rooms clean once we were old enough to do it. My parents weren't much for housekeeping - so it's funny that my brother and I both grew up to be neat freaks.

  3. I don't think things have really changed since I was a kid. We had a dishwasher though my mom always insisted we wash the pans by hand, I hated that. Now I never do pans by hand, everything goes in the dishwasher.

  4. Both my parents worked so us kids did all the housework and have the dinner on the table when they got home. I could cook a full roast dinner by the time I was 9. Now both hairball and I are home full time so I do the majority but still make the kids help.
