Lisa's Challenge blog

Wow, was I surprised at the response to this. I just thought it would be a fun thing to do and bring us together again. As I was reading the different blogs, I noticed it has traveled to 360 family I havent met yet, and how fun is that. Im glad this generated some fun for us.

Anyway, I started to bring my camera with me everywhere I went. It did seem a little strange, while sitting at stoplights and driving down streets in town to be snapping pictures and hoping to stay in my lane. People did look at me strange while I took pictures, but let them wonder. They may be looking in the paper for the pics to appear there. No one ever asked what the pictures were for. I havnt gotten the police car or the school yet, so my challenge isnt complete. I will add them when I get them.  Our town isnt as old as some, maybe a little older than a hundred years. I will have the look it up.

We happen to be the car theft capitol of the world, nothing to brag about, but we also happen to be the tree capitol also. I think its something like more trees per something, I dont know. Every house has to have a tree in front of it.  My virtual walking tour around my block is full of them, thats in my album also.

The pic showing here is of our sign that used to be the entrance to our city. There has been so much added, it is now a few blocks in. There is a smaller and newer  version in one of the other entrances, but I like this one.

Ok, so look in my album for the pics that i did get. I also am going to post our weeknnd trip to the Coast. That was a lot of fun. the north coast is very different form the south coast. The sand is courser and the water is much more dangerous.  Lots of sharks, no pics of that, but I did get  some seal and sea lions. I am also posting pics from the opening day of deer season at my brother  in laws deer camp. No deer were taken that. It is very pretty country out there.

Well that is it for now. Hope you all enjoyed this little challlenge andI am looking forward to seeing your towns.
