i am so proud of myself. Im stickein to my workout routine. this week at curves, i got a smart card. the curves i go to has computerised machines that collect your information as you work out. you put your little card in the slot of each machine just before you start your 30 second workout. it turns either green or yellow, you want it to be green. then, when it turns off, you move on to the next machine. I know, it doesnt sound like much, but after the workout, i was beat. when your done with the workout, you put your little card in the slot in the computer that collects all your information. From here, you can see how you did, how many calories you burned, and also where you need to improve. Its really pretty cool, and im hoping it will help me work out better to get rid of this other person.
i wish i could remember what i was gonna write about. I had this big ole thing goin in my head and i thought about something else for a minute and it was gone. it must have been really important. i looked at my twitter page and my picture showed up. guess i had to log off, then go back or something. I really dont get what all the excitement is about that page. its not like you can chat, or hold a conversation, or leave a picture. nope, its just a bunch of small statements. I have 4 followers, two of which I dont know. I didnt have to give my permission, they just started following me. why? its not like I was having this really great one sided conversation and they just had to hear the whole thing. nope. i wasnt saying much of anything, but if they want to follow my really exciting one sided conversations, so be it. i dont know how to follow someone, and frankly, i dont think i want to. but hey, for those folks who want to follow strangers onesided conversations, you go for it!
Alex has decided he wants to take us to a baseball game. so him n john looked at all the giants home games while he is here. they decided on a padres game on the 22nd. he got front row tickets right behind the dugout. we will be able to reach out and touch those players. how cool is that. hopefully the game will be on tv and so we can record it and see if we will be on tv. we havnet been to a game for so long, im really looking forward to it.
ok, im getting kinda tired, so I better sign off. if i can remember what it was that i really wanted to talk about, ill pop back in and do this again. i just hope i dont make the mistake of thinking of something else for a minute again. so, see ya all later.
....reaching out and touching those players - you cougar, you ;)..........
ReplyDeleteAnd congrats on the Curves success - I do think it the positive reinforcement of seeing how much you've done really helps keep motivation up....if you are lugging an extra person around - she or he is pretty small cause I've never noticed them....
You're forgetting reminded me that I'm forgetting to mail you those things you wanted. *slaps hand on forehead* I'll get them to you I promise. *blush*
ReplyDeleteTwitter isn't much in my book either.
Nothing like a baseball game at the stadium. Baseball is not a good game for TV. It's much better to be there ... smell the hot dogs, popcorn, freshly cut grass and recently raked infield dirt. Yeah, that's it. The crack of the bat and the calls of the umpire - stuff you can't hear on TV, just some faceless guy telling you all about what you're seeing already and making comments that we're really not interested in hearing - just jabber.
ReplyDeleteHave fun at the game. Know you will.
I want to know the exact game and time and what dugout you will be behind so I can hold a I know someone at that game party....
ReplyDeleteEm, can I be a good cougar right there in front of John n Alex and get away with it. I sure would like to try.
ReplyDeleteShe, hey guess what? Im just as bad. I found a disk I must have made for myself at the same time I made yours. I cant load it to my lappy or puter for some reason, but i can print it out. I have a copy. Woo Hoo. Im gonna make myself a soft copy one day.
Jim, Its all that and more that I am so excited about. I love hearing that guy walking throughthe stands that calls out HOt dogs! POP CORN! PEANUTS! Sitting there with my two guys while they get to drink beer and have fun. I cant wait.
Carol, Its the Padres game, Wednesday april 22 at 12:45. we will be sitting behind the giants dugout. seats 13, 14, 15. probably wearing brand new Giants gear cus we havent been to a game in so long. If I can remember, i will tell you what color I will be wearing. I know we will be recording the game. Just in case, ya know.
Send them off to get beer.....that ought to give you enough time ;).
