Just stopping in for a chat

Its been a while since I stopped in here. I really don't have a lot to talk about though. I have just been working, and I have been really tired. I open up this lappy, look at a few pages, and then shut it down. We all go through this, it seems i go through it often. I also and still torn between this page and 360. 360 is still in glitch mode though. I have noticed that when i click on blogs, I keep getting blogs from december. I have to try a few times to get the current blog post. OH WELL.

It is still cold and damp here. the rain has stopped for a few days, maybe a week I hope. the cold and damp just gets old after a while.

Has anyone noticed that even though the writers are on strike, there has suddenly been a rash of new shows on tv? this is my theory on that. Every season hollywood makes a bunch of pilots. some make it, some are cancelled without notice or maybe without ever even being aired. Well, here comes the opportunity to fill in the gaps. Canceled shows are put back into their time slots, no explanation necessary. New shows are taken out of cans and put on the air, and Hollywood goes on. No one is working, but some people are getting paid. Believe it or not, that strike is really effecting a lot of people. Not only the studio folks, but the community also. I wonder how long this is going to last.

OK, that is all I have to talk about today. I probably should get my house cleaned. Maybe I will just make my bed and call it a day. I have a headache that keeps coming and going, it is getting on my nerves. OK, see ya all later.

  1. Hi there - I can appreciate how you feel....the back to work after holidays is never easy - and cold rainy weather sure doesn't help. Hope your headache is better soon - and I know the writers strike is affecting a lot of people. Me, I've been trying to work my way through some of the DVDs I got for Christmas so I really haven't been bothered by the reruns - yet. Oh - and your post about Modesto - I definitely have to get to your part of California - who knows, maybe next year.

  2. Have you had your eyes checked yet? I told you a while back. Get your eyes checked! I haven't had one headache since I got my glasses! (Bash points at Lisa!)

I haven't given the writers strike much thought. However, I wish people were giving it more consideration. The actors are nothing without the writers and the shows are even less without them! I think they play the biggest role of all in Hollywood!
